Daily Duties at At&T:

• Prepares operating budgets for departments based on actual performance, previous budgets figures, estimated revenue, expense reports and other factors. • Reviews expenditures of requisitioning departments to ensure conformance to budget. • Maintains records of expenses, inventories and budget balances. • Audits vouchers and expense accounts. • Maintains records of actual operating figures for comparison with estimated budget. • Assists in the installation of budgetary control systems. • Utilizes computer to input, retrieve, or display and report budget information. • Performs simple to moderately complex financial analysis in support of short and long range financial planning. • Provides functional advice/training to less experienced budget analysts. • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. • Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selection methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
