Daily Duties at Hewlett Packard / Agilent :
· Developed and supported user interface for legacy system to company's employee portal · Used PERL, Pro C, PL/SQL, ASP, CGI to design Security Web page and to store procedures for access to both the Oracle Database and the Optical Information system, allowing 40,000 employees to enter the company's employee portal to access and view personal information · Used Oracle FORMS, SQLPLUS and PL/SQL to maintain and enhance and the performance turning on the company's stock option application as well as Options database (Oracle 7.3) · Used SQL, Crystal Report, MS Excel, and MS Access to generate management reports · Maintained PeopleSoft payroll interface module to access information on payroll/HRMS · Supported, maintained, and enhanced the company's Education Training System, Stock Option System and Employee Portal · Participated in quality inspections/audits, and provided communications and status report to supervisor, clients, and project managers · Developed, maintained and supported Hewlett Packard's Multi-Vendor Information Data Access System (MIDAS)- a Subset of HP Knowledge Mine using C/C++, PERL, JAVA, VB, MS ACCESS and SQL · Maintained, enhanced and supported Hewlett Packard's NewWave Mail and software vendor application (Windows and DOS and UNIX version application) using C/C++ · Provided knowledge transfer to HP counterparts in the United Kingdom (UK). Traveled to the UK and transferred NewWave Mail (windows Application), Advance Mail (DOS application) and TDP (UNIX Editor Application), Provided subsequent maintenance, enhancement and support on these applications. · Responsible for designing and documenting test strategies, coordinating and/or creating test plans, automated scripts, and cases, defect reporting, issues and tracking resolution, coordinating and/or executing Integration, Interoperability, Load, Performance · Participated in quality inspections/audits, and provided communications and status report to supervisor, clients, and project managers. Responsible for application patches including creation, release, and localization and patch delivery · Maintained enhanced and supported Hewlett Packard's Material Management and Production Management (MM3000/PM3000) on HP3000 MPE systems · Supported, enhanced, trouble shoot, debug and fixed bugs, as well as conducting run performance on current MM3000 and PM3000 system using PASCAL, SPL and C
