Daily Duties at Hd Supply:
Manage a 9 person team in a fast paced enviroment covering 50,000 sq. feet. Responsible for 1.5 million dollars of total assets. Accountable for day to day operations including labor planning, inventory management, expense control, fleet maintenance and ensuring compliancy with SOX guidelines. • Involved in the successful start-up of a new distribution facility integrating two different multi million dollar corporations while transitioning from Oracle to Catalyst WMS. • Manage 5,700 SKUs to supply appropriate product to over 300 different locations during off-peak times and 500 locations during peak times. • Average $20,000 in sales daily, and in upwards of $50,000 during seasonal periods. Prepare, compile, and submit reports on work activities, operations, production, and work related accidents. • Restructured logistical routes, with projected annual savings of $30,000. Recommend and implement measures to improve worker motivation, equipment performance, work methods, and customer service. Maintain and verify time, transportation, financial, inventory and personnel records. • Redesigned receiving operation increasing efficiency and reducing headcount by 35 percent. • Safety Director responsible for proper documentation and filing off all OSHA and Home Depot's safety policies and procedures. • Aided in developing budget for Distribution Center based on forcasts and managed Distribution center to operate effectively within budget. • Plan and establish work schedules, assignments and allocate equipment to meet transportation, operations, and production goals.
