Daily Duties at True Value:

Seven years experience supervising up to 50 union employees in all areas of distribution. Routinely responsible for pick and pack of up to 20,000 orders daily and the shipment of an average 500,000 pounds. • Accountable for shipment of over 100 million dollars annually. • Maintained high level of dependability, rewarded as best in company with a 99.96 on time dispatch percentage. • Crafted quality improvement program resulting in a 20% reduction in errors. • Guided 6,684 successful dispatches in 2005 which included 900 customers in four states. • Increased production and efficiency through streamlining product into pick friendly locations and eliminating pick sections. • Interviewed, selected, and trained warehouse personnel. • Prepared and directed preparation of correspondence, reports, and operations, maintenance, and safety manuals. • Participated in union contract negotiations and settlement of grievances.
