Began as administrative support - answered phones, prepared office correspondence, filed, screened consumer inquiries. 28 years as a consumer/business license investigator/inspector - evaluated, prepared and processed complaints of unfair and deceptive practices and other County violations; supervised, coordinated and monitored the activities of subordinate investigators; prepared and reviewed license applications, correspondence, reports and memoranda using Windows and Microft; conducted field investigations and inspections, issued citations to businesses/persons in violation of County Code; Supervised daily operations of the Business License Division for five years - handled personnel, training and staffing matters.
