Daily Duties at Delmar Gardens :
Supervising staff and volunteers in therapeutic activities designed to meet the needs of geriatric clients and their families. Participating as team member during supervisor meetings, quality assurance reviews and plan of care meetings. Developing the monthly activities and events calendar to best meet the changing needs of the clients. Raising community awareness for facility; marketed facility through media appearances, public presentations and event literature. Creating and leading an event raising over $50,000 for the local Alzheimer's Association. Creating the monthly newsletter. Problem solving with families needing resources, techniques and solutions to challenges with a resident. Regular documentation of client progress in the medical charts.
