Daily Duties at Blue Cross Blue Shield Of Ma:
•Assistant to the Director of Voice Services •Monitoring all line and circuit charges, reconciling accounts with AT&T, Verizon & others vendors. •Negotiating maintenance agreements with customers and vendors •Managing equipment purchases and rentals, including major capital expenditures •Compiling and summarizing telecom expenses for the outsource telecom Team (EDS). •Ongoing improvement of the telecom billing system using UNIX Informix •Updating various cost centers on the PBX and voice mail systems •Ensuring the accuracy of monthly chargeback line items •Interpreting financial information for the senior management team, as needed •Assisting in the creation of the annual departmental telecom budget
