Daily Duties at Cliff Hill,P.C.:
Worked as a legal secretary for law firm specializing in Social Security Disability claims. Duties included personal management of over 75 cases. Responsible for monthly contact with clients. Proper maintenance of client files using both physical documents and the Plaintiff software system. Responsible for preparation of the case for hearing and for making sure all documents were ready for attorney’s preparation of briefs for the Court. Also responsible for automobile accident cases. Duties included ordering medical records, investigation, and preparation of documents for preliminary settlement brochures to be briefed and completed by the attorney. Other duties included setting appointments for the attorney, management of the attorney’s calendar, filing, discovery preparation, and miscellaneous case file management.
