Daily Duties at Computer C.O.R.E:

Computer C.O.R.E. (Community Outreach and Education) Alexandria, VA Grant Writer * Understand, practice and promote the vision, mission, values, methods, and models of Computer C.O.R.E. * Perform grant writing for the organization (with appropriate input from Directors as needed) in accordance with grant maker deadlines for submission * Prepare concept papers and letters of inquiry as appropriate * Obtain application and guidelines from potential grant makers * Research and compile updated statistics and demographic information to be included with grant proposals * Prepare and complete all necessary grant documentation (i.e., acknowledgment letters, grant agreement forms to be executed and returned, additional information requests from grant makers, etc.) * Perform appropriate research into potential grant makers * Prepare and keep Reports List updated to ensure reports are submitted in a timely manner and in accordance with grant makers requirements * Assist with functions at the Grant Office, such as mailings, special events, etc.

Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
