Daily Duties at Ancon Marine Transportation:
Made sure that all Owner Operators were in compliance with all DOT regulations. Including but not limited to Driver Qualification Files, EPN (Employer Pull Notice Program), Hours of Service and Logs, Random Drug testing, training of dispatchers on DOT regulations and Recruiting. Also responsible equipment maintenance files and tracking. In charge of the company cellular phone services that included purchasing, calling plans, tracking employee use of company phone and bill payment. Made sure that we were in compliance with all insurance requirements with each company we did business with. Responsible for making sure all files are confidential and secured but readily available for DOT Audits and BIT Inspections. Negotiated new contracts for leased equipment.
