Daily Duties at Floyd County Board Of Education:
Coordinate and direct all aspects of the Youth Apprenticeship Program for the school system. Recruit business partners and students to participate in the program.Facilitate work opportunities for high school juniors and seniors with numerous business partners. Conduct orientation with Work Mentors, students, parents, and educators/other administrators. Develop training plans for each apprentice. Monitor student progress, retrain work mentors as needed, follow apprentices through postsecondary education.
