Daily Duties at Amgen:
Diagnostics Development team - basic science, create tools to measure various novel blood hormones and relate abnormal levels to disease states. Therapeutics Development Team - using molecular biology techniques, identify and isolate the genetic information for various novel protein hormones, characterize and express for production as a therapeutic. Two blockbuster products during employment.
