Daily Duties at United Health Care:
Initiate and lead complex hospital and associated medical groups' negotiations; develop and improve network requirements, positive negotiations, and relationships; lead and implement network strategies, financial analyses and language and cost negotiations; coordinate with corpotate staff in negotiation decisions impacting legal and regulatory requirements, contractual standards, and cost targets; coordinate with senior clinical executives to add cost effective medically necessry procedures to current health plan's benefits; coordinate the successful implementation of nationally contracted laboratory, and monitor progress.
