Daily Duties at Creative Industries:
Develop manufacturing processes for various automotive, aircraft, and military parts, models, dies, molds and fixtures.· Develop and write CNC programs using manual programming and CAM systems. Programming of Fanuc, Allen Bradley, OKK, GE, and other machine controllers. Creation of CAD surfaces from Mylar drawings and blue lines. Creation of template, die and mold cutter paths from CAD surfaces and patterns. Programming of CNC mills, lathes and water jet machines. Generation of checking fixture net pad surfaces and flush/gap rails from Mylar drawings and blue lines, also with CAD data. Supervise machine shop and assembly floor operations.· Operate and maintain machines and assembly tools. Increased machine run time by implementing preventative maintenance procedures. Reduced scrap and material cost by developing multiple blanking dies. Evaluations of material usages and implementation of common quality control practices such as SPC and error proofing.
