Daily Duties at Fairfax Government Center:

•Seasonal Accounting Clerk II, Department of Tax Administration/Accounts Receivable Section. •Process & debit BPOL refunds, research backups for the appropriate refund, make copies, log in refunds, get authorization, send refunds to accounts payable, filing and retrieval of refunds. •Kept track of audiotex, compile audiotex notebook checking the transmittal log sheets against deposit sheets matching dollar amounts. •Distribute audiotex sheets to appropriate personnel; input cash sheet data into the appropriate journals using the FAMIS system. •Picked up morning work from deposit room, daily sort, distribute, add the transactions that were recorded by the cashiers the previous day, balance the lotus sheet along with other receipts within the batch. •Balance cash sheets for input into the FAMIS system in the computer. •Submit the balance sheet for approval and signature.
