Daily Duties at Comerica Bank:

Responsible for turning around the operational and financial condition of two software development companies. Provided guidance on issues dealing with organizational structure, staff development, and strategic planning to the executive management team. * Reorganized the RUN Technology software development team, established development priorities and introduced a new SDLC-based development methodology. This enabled the team to focus on addressing severely unstable accounting modules and move forward on needed new feature enhancements. * Created a new customer support team for RUN Technology and implemented ITIL-based incident and problem resolution guidelines. The team improved problem response & resolution times and reduced backlog of trouble tickets by 90%. I was able to expand staffing and support capabilities while reducing annual employee-related expenses by $400,000. * Re-negotiated software maintenance agreements with 176 of 178 RUN Technology clients and implemented stronger A/R and collection processes. This resulted in an annual revenue increase of $253,000 and a corresponding decrease in support costs of $495,000.
