What they like about Hospice Of El Paso:
The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.

Current Status
3-5-09 - I am curently taking a second look at how I have been handling this job search. I have been working only part time now for seven months. I realize that a part of the reason has been the downturn the economy has taken, but I am looking now to see where I can improve my search to improve my success rate. While I have applied for many positions, I have not been getting interviews. Perhaps it is due to the economy, but perhaps I could market myself better to prospective employers and recruiters. For the past few days, I have been narrowing my search radius to the positions which I WANT to have. I have a degree in Public affairs (Administration), and I am working on a PhD in Public Policy and Administration. The original focus of these degrees was to get a job with the Federal Government. However, many organizations hire people to interface with the government on projects, so this may also be an avenue to pursue in my job hunt.
