Daily Duties at Visions Corporation:
Fortune 500 manufacturing and distribution company nationally for Lens Crafters and Pearle Vision. Promoted to Human Resources Manager in 1987. Promoted to Director of Human Resources in 1989. Directed four departments in all phases of Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits and Employee Relations. Provided high complex and responsible management assistance to the Vice President of Human Resources. Served as a part of the executive management team in corporate-wide strategic planning. * Effectively reorganized and supervised corporate-wide training initiatives for the Southeastern Region * Worked closely with the corporate office in New Orleans, Louisiana in coordinating resolutions for all Senior Management Employee Relations concerns * Primary Senior Manager over direct placement, staffing, and corporate recruiting * Reorganized the new employee orientation module * Redefined corporate new hire initiatives for the Southeastern Region * Effectively resolved complaints and concerns which could not be resolved by Department managers of other staff members * Worked with Department Directors and the Vice President of Human Resources in promoting continuous improvement efforts for Corporate services * Directed all aspects of corporate policies and procedures
