Daily Duties at J.A.K. Enterprises, Inc.:

Helped to build company from scratch into a highly profitable construction company specializing in the design and build of residential structures. Responsible for budgeting and financials, P&L, hiring and staff development, HR, contractor management, vendor / supplier approval and oversight, facilities maintenance and directly supervised daily construction activities to ensure schedules and budgets achieved to remain competitive and profitable.  Hired and oversaw the work of a regular pool of approximately 45 subcontractors firms, coordinating planning and execution of concrete work, framing, electrical, plumbing, roofing, heating, and finish work, ensuring work in alignment with plans and client expectations. Approved change orders, and personally inspected and approved final projects.  Established and maintained win-win relationships with banks and financial institutions to consistently secure advantageous loans and lines of credit.  Due to leadership and vision, grew revenues from $0 to $1.5 Million annually, and increased profit margins by 25% to 30% per construction project through contract negotiations, waste reduction, and the implementation of a charge-back policy.
