Daily Duties at Contract Positions:
Took an active, hands-on role planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction and renovation initiatives, from initial planning through final completion and closing, including retail establishments and the University of Minnesota. Utilized strong communication abilities to facilitate superior employee and subcontractor performance, meet local and state agency permitting and compliance mandates, and build relationships with suppliers to obtain best prices and services for needed materials. Established and promoted strong customer service policies and actions with all employees, resulting in improved customer satisfaction, reduced costs, and on time schedule adherence. Personally directed completion of facility and major capital improvement project, security, fire alarm and sprinkler system installations in multiple university building previously put on hold due to budget challenges. Completed project on time and under budget, with values ranging from $500,000 to $2 Million. Additional milestones include saving company $275,000 through adept vendor negotiations and management.
