Daily Duties at Velasco Alonso:
Design, maintenance, and programming of reports, queries, scripts, forms, etc., in a SCO UNIX environment. Programmed with Micro Focus COBOL, and FlexGen. Accomplished considerable cost reductions, savings, and efficiency, thru a better user of software, hardware, and systems use. Systems worked included Point of Sale applications, inventory, human resources, accounting, etc. System administration and support on Windows/Mac/SCO UNIX/Linux servers and PC’s. Hardware support. Time was split approximately 65% programming/design/analysis, 35% hardware/software/tech. support/administration.
