Daily Duties at Bechtel Corp:
•Prepared Leave of Absence benefits billings and collected and applied benefit payments •Processed final payroll for terminations, holds and leaves of absence •Coordinated and processed foreign pension deductions for expatriate employees •Integrated military payroll for employees on paid military leave •Audited manual time and per diem records, in accordance with Bechtel guidelines and state and federal labor laws •Established and maintained per diem / living allowance eligibility in gBETR and SAP payroll systems •Coordinated with HR & local work force planners to obtain necessary paperwork and to troubleshoot issues with assignment dates, per diem / living allowance rates, etc. •Researched labor coding errors •Maintained per diem and other payroll matrices •Verified retroactive payroll actions prior to payroll processing •Completed biweekly journal voucher entries in Oracle 11i •Participated in regular SAP / HRMS roll-out testing and continued improvement efforts, via PMC implementations (system upgrade in 2001 and 2006), including creation of test cases. •Drafted payroll information transfer notices to be distributed to international payroll and other Bechtel payroll entities •Created and maintained Global Payroll Team business continuity plan / manual. •Trained payroll team members in using Tutor Author software to document work processed (for US and UK desk procedures).
