• Molecular Biology techniques like cloning, PCR, plasmid extraction, isolation of DNA from soil, environmental samples and bacteria. RNA isolation from intra-cellular bacteria. • Protein purification using different methods. • Analytical methods like FPLC, HPLC, GLC and qPCR. • Working knowledge of fermentation techniques and fermentors, microarray techniques. • Ability to work in BSL3 certified environments with Class 3 organisms. Working knowledge of computers and research related scientific softwares.
