Daily Duties at Phoenix American Warranty Company / Wynn's Extended Care, Inc.:
• Management of claims and lawsuits filed against both corporations throughout the country; responsible for timely and cost effective case resolution through efficient management of outside defense counsel; • Responsible for legal matters involving both corporations, including but not limited to resolving complaints regarding claims handling directed to the Department of Insurance, Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau; resolution of general matters involving sales representatives, collection matters, and general employment issues; handle, review and negotiate contractual and corporate matters; and, • Management and implementation of effective policies and procedures to improve compliance; analyze and determine effects of law for each jurisdiction companies are involved in conducting business; called upon to assess many diverse situations by working closely with company’s CEO and management team; problem resolution at all levels of management.
