• Managed and handled all legal matters of the corporations and affiliate companies, including but not limited to contracts, claims, collections, and hotel and employee issues; • Management and direction of outside counsel handling litigation cases by assisting with investigations, discovery, and general case strategy; insured mitigation of costs and effective resolution; • Oversaw, reviewed and assisted with general contracts, third party agreements and general contractor relationships; advised management concerning transactions involving leases, landlord-tenant issues and general public and customer issues; and, • Handled matters as they relate to building code compliance and violations; assisted in commercial real estate transactions and closings; coordinated work with engineers, architects and contractors; negotiated contracts with clients in Latin American countries
