Daily Duties at Arcane Technologies, Inc.:
Deliver strategic, results-driven leadership while acting as the sole Controller with accountability for the execution of all accrual accounting functions in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Complete budget and reporting functions in QuickBooks and analyze inventory to notate any fluctuations or variances. Administer payroll, oversee Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), track and manage cash flow and vendor due dates, deposit payroll liability payments, and create and submit all federal and state required reports on a quarterly and annual basis. Control all end-of-year reporting including submission of 1099s and W2s to the IRS and State of VA. Author and reconcile Purchase Orders (POs) to procure required inventory products, generate and issue invoices immediately upon project completion, and calculate sales tax, asset schedules, and prepaid expenses utilizing journal entries. Govern company credit cards, collect receipts, resolve any balance overages, and perform monthly reconciliations.
