- Solicited, evaluated, and determined purchase price for portfolios of defaulted consumer loans; Purchased portfolios performed at 103% of forecast - Negotiated Purchase and Sale Agreement for over 260 portfolios ($11 Billion in loan amounts) from top credit issuers, debt buyers and government entities - Led due diligence and acquisition of two competitor companies and their portfolios - Built and maintained relationships between company and many of the largest credit issuers - Reviewed, completed, and submitted Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal - Developed and managed processes for the efficient and effective evaluation and management of potential servicing opportunities - Managed new partner / client onboarding and recertification/audit processes; including operational review of internal processes and external partners for compliance with federal, state and local laws including FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA and GLBA - Led operational audits, certification interviews and onboarding meetings with issuers - Expanded number of servicing clients by cultivating leads, building network of contacts, establishing, and maintaining relationships, and attending trade shows - Developed operational strategy and implemented plans to react to changes in regulatory environment, legislative changes and judicial decisions that impacted existing operational processes - Developed long-term growth strategies including redesigning market segmentation and competitive analysis - Conducted research on profitability, serviceability, collectability, and long-term feasibility of alternative servicing opportunities - Negotiated credit agreements, designed loan structure, reviewed potential covenants, and produced financial models and proformas to support new borrowing initiatives - Served as executive sponsor on Regulatory Compliance Committee and Social/Wellness Committees - Served on Receivables Management Association International’s Federal and State Legislature Committee (2016-2017, 2019-current) - Worked closely with CFPB, federal/state legislators and lobbyists to review pending legislation and provide feedback on proposed legislation - Served on ACA International Asset Buyers Committee (2011– 2015; 2020-current) - Chaired subcommittee tasked with rewriting industry publication (Guide to Purchase and Sale Agreements)
