Daily Duties at Bp Chemicals Company:

 Assist the Unit Maintenance Engineer (UME) with technical support for routine rotating equipment maintenance work, failure investigations, and TAR support as needed.  Responsible for the development of predictive and preventive programs for major rotating equipment at Texas City Chemicals Site.  Develop and manage the inspection & repair workscopes for major rotating equipment at the Texas City Chemicals Site.  Manage capital projects generated from long term reliability plans using the Texas City Capital Value Process. Provide mechanical design review of rotating equipment on the Front End Loading stages of Capital Projects to insure that final product meets the site’s standards  Support the Learning & Development team in the development of training programs and assist with training as needed.  Monitor major rotating equipment performance, operation, and maintenance throughout the TCC site to identify causes of unreliability and propose solutions to meet business unit goals.  Support the development of maintenance repair procedures related to rotating equipment. Ensure that the procedures are revised as required.  Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in work processes.
