Daily Duties at Vantec Hitachi:
Responsible for all logistical operations at the Nissan cross dock facility in Canton, MS. Facility size of 1.5M square feet. · Operations consist of 450 hourly and 38 salaried employees. · Inbound/unload 183 semi-trailers per day, store material in warehouse consisting of 17k locations and pick/load 16k part numbers onto 265 scheduled outbound shuttles per day. · Develop & manage expectations of team resources to exceed financial, operational & leadership agendas. · Influence Customer Representatives in an effort to identify/assess opportunities and negotiate opportunities. · Interject as the single point of contact for all Operational aspects for the Customer, reinforcing clarity and continuity. · Additional responsibilities include replenishments, inventory, scheduling, auditing, etc.….
