Daily Duties at Wells Fargo:
- Worked with various lines of business on both internal and retail sides to design, stage and implement firewalls needs for their projects. This included meeting with various levels of the LOB’s to discuss the projects, the applications and exact needs for implementation. -Performed follow up testing and troubleshooting of any problems with issues pertaining to firewall rules. -Implementation and support for enterprise-wide network of over 2000 Palo Alto, Checkpoint and Cisco ASA firewalls via Palo Alto Panorama, Checkpoint Provider 1, and Cisco CSM. -Responsible for updating CVE definitions, blocking particular attacks as requested, and participating in an call rotation of IPS systems. -Worked with Virtual Teams to address emergency situations, working with representatives from multiple business units. This included technical investigation, coordination of response, and keeping all groups updated of the progress. Writing of follow up documentation including preventative actions and remediation procedures. -Used of a variety of network tools, both internal and third party, to monitor and respond to any firewall or IPS issues. -Participated in proper Change Management procedures.
