Daily Duties at Wilkinsburg School District:

Specifically recruited to design, introduce and lead a large-scale, sustainable reform plan for an academically challenged, economically disadvantaged, urban school district in the Pittsburgh metro region. Based English language-arts, mathematics, and science curriculum on the Pennsylvania core standards, college career readiness standards, and the ten facets of excellence in curriculum design. Promoted innovation, resilience, and the capacity to adapt to the demands of an ever-changing environment. Ensured Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) were implemented and deployed across the organization, so that students would not be victimized by a stigma of feeling cast aside or "thrown out" for academic and social difficulties.
