Daily Duties at Ameritas Life Insurance Co:

* Lead and challenge the Ameritas Direct Distribution's Northeast and Southeast regional group dental and eyecare underwriting team * Assist the Regional Vice President's of Sales with advanced underwriting training of their regional sales associates to develop their consultative sales skills when responding to complex requests for proposals * Assist with the preparation and presentation for all regional proposal opportunities with 2,500 or more participating lives * Create, and when necessary, develop and present policyholder specific financial and plan design illustrations to emphasize the unique characteristics inherent in our offer to the producer or policyholder. * Aggressively meet and exceed divisional financial and operational objectives for the regions assigned to my team * Recruit, hire, onboard and train all new associates assigned to work with Ameritas' Northeast and Southeast Sales Regions * Develop and maintain a training program for all underwriter's assigned to work with the Ameritas Distribution to allow for enhanced engagement and development for all existing underwriting team members
