Daily Duties at Simon Property Group:
As a direct report to the Chief Information Officer of the department, I manage, coordinate and implement the fiscal affairs of the Information Technology [IS] Department in relation to the Financial Reporting and Legal Operations Departments. I currently prepare, monitor and report all of the budgetary information for the department and field locations as well as update monthly and quarterly KPI and SPV reporting as needed. I am the focal point for departmental, corporate and external vendors for certain administrative functions, which includes reviewing contracts and statements of work for business terms and conditions before the involvement of Legal Operations, resolves all invoice disputes, responsible for the creation of ad hoc and work group projects as assigned. I am actively involved in the development and management of the department’s $21.5 million capital budget and $18 million expense budget. I currently update the department’s financial dashboards and financial scorecards on a monthly and quarterly basis. I mentor and provide guidance for the accounts payable associate, telecom associate and other department staff as it relates to contracts and invoicing.
