Daily Duties at Boeing Global Services Customer Service:
Managed scope, cost, and quality for production and retrofit type design changes borne of in-service customer problem reports and FAA safety and airworthiness actions to ensure customer satisfaction regarding performance and schedule. Managed projects from inception to closure, limiting company's liability as well as impacts to airline customers. Coordinated with international aviation certification agencies to ensure prompt approval of projects by customers' own regulatory agencies. • Promoted to Lead Engineer in 2014. Improved on-time performance of group by 14%. • Led projects requiring understanding highly technical engineering and manufacturing issues and processes, including: o Structures - Corrosion, Cracking, Airworthiness. o Mechanical / Hydraulic systems - Landing Gear, brakes, valves, purchased equipment. o Propulsion - Icing, flameouts, standard procedures, thrust reversers, pumps. o Environmental Control Systems - cargo temperature control, shutoff valves, depressurization. o Interiors - escape slides, galley equipment, in-flight networking / entertainment
