Daily Duties at Washington Adventist Hospital :
- I provided direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. -I performed personal daily living activities such as assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, ambulation, and healthcare-related tasks. -Ensured client's safety as well as maintained a safe environment. -Remained in constant contact with nurses and specialists to communicate case updates or treatment plans -Worked closely with House Managers in overseeing that activities were running seamlessly and by client financial needs and capabilities -Encouraged self-help activities. -Reported changes in client’s condition or family situation to administration and supervisors. -Promptly documented all services provided to clients. -Performed home management functions such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning. -Planned meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving food/meals, fed and cleaned up afterward. -Drove clients to their scheduled appoints and transported clients when running their errands. -Customer Service as described by the nurse manager and the ED Management. -Promptly resolved discrepancies among the individual condition, coverage, and needs of patients -Compassionately delivered quality care to clients within a group home setting -Safely operated lifts to bathe, clothe, feed, and transfer clients to and from their doctor’s appointments or outdoor activities.
