Daily Duties at Westgate Products:

 Responsible for entire plant operations  Manage and coordinate all production activities to include safety, quality, shipping and receiving, and procurement.  Promote Operational Excellence, Safety, Organization and Teamwork throughout the workplace using HACCP, Lean and SQF  Coordinate with the Production Scheduler regarding schedules and/or problems  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively and persuasively present information to Management, customers, and employees.  Knowledge and understanding of production control and scheduling in regards to manpower requirements and production schedules.  Strong planning and project management skills with ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects and tasks  Implement Lean and 5S initiatives  Responsible for machine costing and maintenance (repairs, PM’s, upgrades, new equipment)  Implemented production efficiencies and increased production throughput up to 45% on specific machines
