Daily Duties at Westgate Products:
Responsible for entire plant operations Manage and coordinate all production activities to include safety, quality, shipping and receiving, and procurement. Promote Operational Excellence, Safety, Organization and Teamwork throughout the workplace using HACCP, Lean and SQF Coordinate with the Production Scheduler regarding schedules and/or problems Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively and persuasively present information to Management, customers, and employees. Knowledge and understanding of production control and scheduling in regards to manpower requirements and production schedules. Strong planning and project management skills with ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects and tasks Implement Lean and 5S initiatives Responsible for machine costing and maintenance (repairs, PM’s, upgrades, new equipment) Implemented production efficiencies and increased production throughput up to 45% on specific machines
