Daily Duties at Lennox Industries:
Responsible for P&L accountability, sales fulfillment, and operating efficiencies for six Florida facilities shipping over $1M in total freight per year. Supervised more than 25 full-time employees, as well as seasonal temporary personnel. Led initiative to optimize and standardize distribution center operations in Florida. Standardized forklift maintenance, inventory cycle counts, reporting tools, and personnel scheduling. Became a model for the entire DC network. Managed carrier compliance, freight audit and settlement, and freight procurement operations for more than $50M in annual freight spend across North America. Identified more than $120,000 in annual cost savings in the first six months in position by optimizing inventories by region and centralizing low velocity product as well as establishing new oversight of carrier invoicing/billing and proper freight auditing procedures. Designed groundbreaking hub-and-spoke transportation planning and execution network for new regional distribution model; projected first-year savings of $800,000 for southeast region. Provided first- ever 24-hour order fulfillment capability. Completed in-house Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
