Daily Duties at Saudi Aramco:

Responsible for negotiating and executing the sourcing of contracts for the Marine, Aviation, Transportation & Equipment Services, Material Logistics and the Industrial Security Service Departments, that support all operations for the Red Sea, Arabian Gulf and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Saudi Aramco. At the same time responsible for executing counseling meetings with contractors that failed to meet requirements as part of their contract obligations and which are presented as part of the yearly performance evaluation. Roberto worked with a sense of urgency to ensure no operations activities came to a stop. Roberto used his experience to tutor younger people in his group to make sure they learned what was needed in a sourcing negotiation environment. Roberto became an Operation Excellence Assessor that helped the organization perform assessments to the processes and procedures, needed to be in place to be able to execute the work and which the organization was pushing to prevent gaps in all their operations, as part of the Quality and Excellence program. Roberto was also board member of the Contacting Society for Saudi Aramco with the intent of transferring knowledge from the industry to other people in the organization, that had yet to acquire the experiences to learn. Roberto was part of the Marketing campaign for the Contracting Society in order to reach a wider audience in the organization, reaching all regions and locations were Saudi Aramco operates. As a Senior Contracts Advisor, Roberto helped managers, end users, proponents, as well as Contracting Department members that need guidance, while at the same time he mentored young members of his unit. Roberto was assigned the grand majority of sensitive and non-standard Sourcing Contracts that require a delicate review and follow up of all processes within the procurement process.
