Daily Duties at Liberty Mutual Insurance:

Cybersecurity Initiatives: • Designed and implemented the MailMarshal security platform, to perform edge SMTP security, spam, Anti-virus, and S\MIME encryption. • Implemented Cisco's Advanced Malware Protection (AMP) on the IronPort Email Security Appliances (IESA). • Led initiative to encrypt any email containing Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Non-Public Personal Information (NPPI) information to follow Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. • Rewrote HTML code to update the external “brand” of the company on customer-facing encrypted emails. • Developed customized JavaScript and PowerShell code to scan, detect and remediate any PCI data found within messages in Exchange mailboxes. • Led, as a subject matter expert, the project to design, configure, and implement the replacement of the IronPort Encryption Appliances with Voltage SecureMail; this encompassed all facets of project management, from the initial request for proposal (RFP) and vendor demo/questions to the product selection, pilot and implementation phases. Upgrades and Migrations • Redesigned Database Availability Groups (DAG) increasing the capacity for the Exchange Server 2010 mailbox databases to 50TB. • Worked with Microsoft and the evaluation software, Exchange (EX) Risk Assessment Program (RAP) as a Service (RaaS) or (EXRaaS) to correct environmental and server problems identified in the report. • Designed and implemented Two-Factor Authentication (TFA) for the Microsoft Exchange Outlook Web Application. • Utilized the O365 FLOW tool to create mailbox tools that would create a pop-up to notify, in an obvious way, that an email needs to be worked on. • Utilized the O365 Centralized Deployment and/or the Exchange Add-In Deployment tool to install many Microsoft and third-party add-Ins to the user base’s Outlook clients. • Led and participated in the migration of the company’s Exchange 2013 environment to Microsoft’s Azure Cloud platform and Office 365 Exchange Online.
