Daily Duties at Sallie Mae / Upromise:
Responsible for the strategy, tactics, and execution of all eCommerce, communication, marketing, brand, partner and product development initiatives for the Upromise business. Owned and developed the product roadmap including complete member and marketing experience including new member acquisition and engagement, product development and marketing, brand awareness, and public relations. Responsible for identifying and evaluating eCommerce partners and product management initiatives to continuously improve the suite of benefits and products available to Upromise members resulting in increased profitability for the enterprise. Managed a technology budget of $20MM and an eCommerce budget of $3.8 million, including marketing, member experience and retention. Developed and led eCommerce strategy to maximize multi-channel and partner revenue. Responsible for the User and Member on-line and mobile experience to ensure a superior technology interaction at all touch points. Recruited, hired, trained and developed marketing, product, UX/CX, and partner / vendor management teams.
