Daily Duties at Commercial Contracting Corporation :

Create visibly comprehensive construction schedules to accompany estimating bid packages to specified requirements and based on estimated quantities and manpower for an organization offering a full range of construction, fabrication, Maintenance and EPC project work. Navigate and populate preliminary and working project schedules with Project Managers using scheduling software. Attend Progress Meetings and highlight the critical issues related to Planning and Scheduling. Prepare and issue three weeks and one-month look-ahead plans and catch up plans and basis for these plans. Update and report the status of projects to project teams and customers using scheduling software and supplementary Reporting tools • Plans and prepares production schedules for minor construction, remodeling, and renovation projects. • Draws up master/discipline schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet client forecasted master schedule. • Updates client through client accepted/sponsored software, i.e. MS Project. • Analyzes production specifications and construction data and performs mathematical calculations to determine material, tools, and human resource requirements for the schedule. • Plans and schedules workflow for each craft and operation according to sequences and lead times. • Plans sequence of construction, contracting and procurement tasks for guidance of construction workers. • Planner/Scheduler confers with Supervisors/Management to determine status of projects. • Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. • Prepares production reports. • Earn value management • Monthly Billing • Issue monthly project narrative • Resource Loading and management The Projects involved with: • GLWA (Great Lake Water Authority )Rehabilitation of Various Sampling Sites (CON 222 A) • GLWA Rehabilitation of Rectangular Primary Clarifiers (Package A, B & C) (PC757) • GLWA Pump Station No.2 Improvement Project (PC795) • GLWA Relocation Analytical Lab • GLWA Actuators Replacement • Atwater Beach Project • University of Michigan, Flint WM R Murchie Science Building Expansion • University of Michigan, Ann Arbor MRI Replacement • Blue Water Energy Center • Equipment Enclosure Building • Chrysler Warrant Truck Data Base project • Chrysler Dundee Warehouse – Relocation Conveyer production Line • Chrysler MAC – Install Conveyer production Line • Ford Warehouse Dearborn • Bidding Schedules • Navigate and populate preliminary and working project schedules with Project Managers using scheduling software • Obtain timely information from key team members related to execution of support plans, logistics coordination, changes in scope, schedule impacts, etc. • Implement subcontractor activities/milestones into master schedules and manage the criteria and methods for exchange of schedule related information • Updating and reporting the status of projects to project teams and customers using scheduling software and supplementary reporting tools • Manipulating schedules to reflect valuable and concise information specific to the intended audience • Other assigned tasks related to project planning and project management
