Daily Duties at New Destiny Housing :

• Followed up with eligible HousingLink candidates via phone and email to collect documentation and prepare applications for permanent housing • Contacted Project HOME clients placed in permanent housing to engage in self-sufficiency activities and supportive services in order to improve their economic situation prior to the end of available housing subsidies • Conduct check-ins and provide referrals and linkages to appropriate services for clients in need of support • Collected and inputted quantitative and qualitative data gathered from program participants and partners into data tracking sheets • Filed and organized client files (hardcopies and electronic) • Composed client file review memos to be presented before the File Review Committee for placement into permanent Housing • Attended four DV survivor support trainings at two Family Justice Centers in the NYC area
