Influential, multifaced leader providing training and oversight for 4 to 5 pharmacy technicians responsible for providing safe, quality medication assistance in a high volume, fast paced, retail pharmacy setting. Received, processed, dispensed or compounded and delivered up to 2000 prescriptions per week with an emphasis on accuracy and timely delivery to meet patient healthcare needs. Assisted patients in selecting appropriate OTC medications on the basis of self-disclosed symptomologies or ailments. Delivered individualized patient counseling to foster a strong understanding of treatment regimens, potential side effects, and when to seek medical assistance to reduce the risk of further complications. Keenly observe patient responses to treatments and recommended alternatives to physicians, when appropriate to improve patient outcomes.
