SABRE Technology Solutions - FT. Worth, TX 1994-1997 Sr. PM Consultant Lead/Project Manager • Led selection and development of SABRE/American Airlines corporate project management curriculum. • Assessed 99 vendors and led cross departmental team to select final vendors and assisted with contract negotiations and vendor management while training 4,000 staff enabling better execution of project management disciplines for increased on time, within budget, quality delivery, and satisfied clients. Streamlined approach $20M labor savings. • Led project management consulting and Microsoft Project Office tool support, clarified corporate requirements. • Developed and leveraged “Building a Project Office (PO)”/PMO process and packet for need of structured PMOs   SABRE Development Services – American Airlines - Carrollton/Dallas, TX 1992-1994 Co-Project Manager • Achieved on-time project delivery, regaining 3-month slippage and contributing to $200M savings. • Managed internal team of 16 IT / business professionals with 2 supervisors and helped reorganize staff of 160. • Developed and managed project plan and coordinated litigation expert analyst schedule and tracked deliverables. • Led case preparation process improvement, provided orientation training, and jointly built a very effective team. AMR Information Services (AMRIS) - Carrollton/FT. Worth, TX 1990–1992 Sr. Project Management Consultant • Hired to evaluate and improve existing program office practices and did so maintaining existing team. • Achieved fully integrated and 600 resource leveled schedule leveraged by 4 partners and 30+ project managers. • Served as implementation manager/trainer for View Point used on $100+ million project and national instructor. • Established and maintained the logistical schedules for migration of employees during project close down. • Tackled cultural roadblocks to provide more effective planning, scheduling, and tracking. Grew issue awareness, structured action teams, standardization and presented at DOD Veterans Affairs National Project Management Conference on importance of scheduling, project close-downs, and enterprise scheduling. • Managed VHA migration of 350 schedules using limited resources and still achieved desired quality on time.
