• Directed work with IT Infrastructure and Development Teams to evolve the PS Financials, HR and Benefits solutions’ infrastructure platforms and their ongoing support; managed team of 12 DBAs, System Engineers and Project Managers • Built strong partnerships and collaborated daily with Business, IT Development and IT Infrastructure teams, in order to maintain and improve PS’ technical infrastructure • Managed and continuously improved the processes involving the creation, maintenance and refreshes of PS Financials, HR and Benefits environments, ensuring that they were operating at optimal levels and available to their users as required • Managed application monitoring and when needed, lead SQL / Infrastructure performance tuning and EMC storage / server file space additions • Managed upgrades and ongoing patching of Unix-AIX, Windows, Oracle database, Tuxedo, Weblogic, Tivoli, Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS / IWS), Internet Explorer • Managed efforts with DBAs, Storage Management and PS management to determine annual storage predictions for IT planning and forecasting purposes • Managed Disaster Recovery preparation and annual testing for PS • Lead efforts with Internal Audit, System Engineers and DBAs to mitigate security audit risks • Managed database archive and purge process development and each one’s ongoing execution
