• Lead Procurement efforts with my team on an average of 4 Capital Projects per year with an average spend of 46MM and reported cost savings at an average of 9 percent. • Managed Capital Project procurement operations for two petroleum refineries including supervision of teams consisting of six direct reports and seven indirect reports. • Developed and fostered internal and external strategic relationships, while serving as company liaison for supply chain management. • Designed and implemented enhanced workflow management to improve accuracy in system sourcing of materials, resulting in increased productivity, efficiency, and establishment of cost-saving strategies in bid process. • Prepared and provided documentation to internal and external audits. • Generated and enhanced P2P monthly reports, while collaborating with Procurement Teams and Accounts Payable to improve analytics and visibility through life cycles of each transaction. • Drafted and initiated initial Procurement Directive, establishing standards and protocol for business operations in the materials market. • Initiated and created a working list of common vendors used by the Capital Project Procurement team for quick access to names and contact information. • Resolved payment issues between my accounting department and vendors. • Directed company recovery efforts after 2007 flood to resume efficient business operations in record time.
