Daily Duties at Hargrove Engineers + Constructors :
• Managed interfaces between Project Management and Procurement for the Capital Projects Team. • Designed and implemented enhanced workflow management to improve accuracy in system sourcing of materials, resulting in increased productivity, efficiency, and establishment of cost-saving strategies in bid process. • Execute sourcing initiatives that are aligned to business objectives and deliver value. • Interpreting project scopes, statements of work and project schedules and change notices. • Ensured the capability and performance of the Procurement Project Team through training and development. • Developing bid packages, submitting Request for Quote (RFQ), negotiating terms and conditions, awarding purchase orders, and expediting in support of many of the high-profile projects. • Initially recruited to enhance the company’s procurement capabilities within EPC Project execution through the development of procurement plans for the acquisition of goods and services in support of various projects. • Execution of heavy industrial projects including chemical, refining, power, and manufacturing. • Ability to effectively negotiate contract conditions with suppliers and/or contractors.
