Daily Duties at System Planning Corporation:
• Program management and analytic support to DARPA TTO & DSO initiatives: Chemical & Kinetic Energy Weapons, Armor/Antiarmor, Mine/Countermine, Explosive & Active Armors, Electrothermal & Electromagnetic Guns, SLEEK Projectiles, Neural Networks • Program management support to Pentagon’s DDR&E related to materials and weapons Provided a liaison between Pentagon and Air Force Materials Directorate • R&D and modeling (Matlab, Fortran) of Treaty Verification sensors for DTRA Investigated hardware-in-loop sensors for distinguishing equal size/ equal weight nuclear and conventional cruise missiles and for ICBM warhead attribution through missile shroud • Numerical modeling, design and testing of novel light weight armor for shaped charge defeat • Design of electric armor using electric shaped charge • Lethality analysis of Martin Javelin & Boeing NLOS warheads; Ferranti dispensed submunitions Down selected warheads using IVAST code: EFP or Shaped Charge, developed engineering (FORTRAN) codes for programmatic decisions of engagement envelope: CEP, Angle of Attack, Fuze • Applications of gravity gradiometer technology for detection of underground weapons and tunnels
