Daily Duties at Safran Helicopter Usa:

started as 2nd shift manager the following were my promotions - the promotions were mostly due to my ability gain employee engagement, add structure (standard times and scheduling) and accountability. Engine shop Post-Quote manager LRUS Pre-quote manager Overall LRUS and Accessories manager Machine shop manager  Proactively lead the production planning, scheduling, and day-to-day requirements in renovating and repairing the Turbomeca Arriel and Arrius aircraft engines; fuel control unit (FCU), hydro mechanical unit (HMU’s) and other accessories.  Direct an effective team which consists of 20 to 45 technicians while overseeing efforts across maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) and test cell shops.  Display competencies in fulfilling the following tasks: - Coordination of repair and shop supports projects; - Monitoring and maintenance of budgets; - Tracking of safety and compliance programs; and - Presentation of reports to the management regarding department metrics, employee qualifications, and issues impacting production.  Facilitate training of technician on 5S methodology, dynamic cost control, plan–do–check–act or plan–do–check–adjust (PDCA), and quick response quality control (QRQC) lean manufacturing.  Apply QRQC techniques for the efficient quality improvement.  Serve as a main person in executing dynamic cost control, technical support representative (TSR) program, OPX2, and SAP.
