 Drove the Human Resources Department, recruited, selected, oriented, trained, and retained high quality employees.  Developed personal growth opportunities and ensured compliance with company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation and employee benefits.  Initiated, coordinated and enforced HR policies and procedures.  Obtained senior management buy-in on new programs and developed managers’ leadership skills.  Led seven Regional Directors and Board of Directors regarding day-to-day operations of 105 correctional health care units in 11 states.  Served as management representative during union contract negotiations and meetings with state and local government administrators.
